This is a cartoon portrait of myself contemplating my life during this epidemic. The colors to my left are jagged and rough, representing the distress and anxiety I felt during 2020. The colors to the right of me are soft and blend together, showing the optimism I feel despite the uncertainty the world is facing. The birds sit at my shoulder as a reminder that life goes on and joy and happiness are always around the corner just as spring always brings new life.
