Human Resources - Personnel
Personnel is a division of the City Manager’s Office. Personnel is responsible for the following:
- Recruitment of New Employees (development of job descriptions/specifications and flyers, advertising, scheduling/coordination of screening processing and interviews);
- Internal Recruitment and Promotions
- Hiring of New Employees - pre-employment paperwork and physical exam processing;
- Orientation of New Employees to the organization and its policies - personnel policies, performance evaluations, discipline and grievances, MOUs, and leave programs;
- Administration of Employee Benefits
- Employee Training
- Procurement of City Insurance & Claims Administration for Workers’ Compensation & General Liability
