2020 was a year of great personal growth for me. I dug deep into the depths of myself and evaluated how it was that I wanted to live my life. I work as a registered nurse in the Santa Cruz community, and during the pandemic it became very clear to me that instead of choosing to live in fear of the pandemic, if we choose love and compassion for ourselves and others, we can stand together and get through anything. Like the lotus flower we can grow through thick muddy water and open up to enlightenment and love.
