Capitola has been a favorite subject matter for thirty years. I never tire of painting the Victorians and cottages of Depot Hill; the wharf and beaches, the restaurants, little streets and of course, the bridge and the Venetians. While most of my works are in watercolor, I recently returned to painting in acrylics.  With acrylics, I feel I can better capture the magic of Capitola which is all about color.
