Afterschool Rec Club

Capitola Recreation is excited to offer an Afterschool Rec program at New Brighton Middle School. This program will run the entire school year.

Capitola Recreation offers afterschool recreation program to students from 1st grade through middle school. Students from Main St Elementary and Soquel Elementary can enroll in our program located at New Brighton Middle School. Students will be transported from their elementary school to program by City Staff. End of the day pick up will be at NBMS.

The Afterschool Rec Club provides activities in sports, technology, art and performance that focus on participant’s interests with the opportunity for leadership and decision making to enhance life, college and career readiness. Homework support and a healthy snack will be provided each day.

Program start date is Aug 9th, 2024. and runs through May 24th 2025. Space is limited, sign up today.

Soquel Elementary School Program:

Monday-Thursday 2:30-6pm, Fridays 11:45-5pm
Pick up at New Brighton Middle School

Main Street Elementary Program:

Monday-Thursday 2:50-6pm, Fridays 11:50-5pm
Pick up at New Brighton Middle School

New Brighton Middle School Program:

Monday - Thursday: 3-6 pm & Fridays 1:30-5 pm

Registration Fees are calculated by the number of school days in a month and number of hours in program. Cost varies by month and school. NEW! NBMS students have the option for a la carte registration. Elementary school students must enroll in monthly registraion.

Rates are based on the hourly rate Non-Resident $5.25/hr Resident $6.56/hr
