Volunteer for First Flush 2016!
Join the Coastal Watershed Council and the City of Capitola for the most extreme water quality monitoring event of the season! You’ll be trained by CWC staff on how to take field measurements and water samples for lab analysis to measure what pollutants are entering local waterways and the Monterey Bay. When the first significant rainfall of the season hits, you and your team will mobilize and head to storm drains and creeks to monitor water quality, day or night! With your help we can understand watershed health and determine ways to protect it. To volunteer, you must attend both of the following trainings at the Community Room at Capitola City Hall, 420 Capitola Avenue.
