The City of Capitola is recruiting for the posistion of Information Systems Specialist.  This position is responsible for the installation, support, and maintenance of all the information technology systems at the City of Capitola.  The candidate will work with a managed service provider for after hours support.

The position requires good customer service and technical aptitude.  The position requires knowledge of desktops and servers, networking and routing, as well as phones and tablets.  Application support of commercial off the shelf software is required, however it is not anticipated that there will significant coding knowledge in the position.  The City has migrated a number of applications to the cloud over the past few years and experience with cloud applications is desired.

The position supports all City of Capitola departments, including the Capitola Police Department.  The selected candidate will need to pass a comprehensive background check.
