November 1st Capitola Branch Library Community Meeting
Your perspective matters! Over the next few weeks, the Santa Cruz Public Library System (SCPL) is holding community meetings at each branch to obtain input on an updated strategic plan.
Library Director Susan Nemitz will facilitate the community meetings as roundtable conversations with community members to determine shared priorities, passions, and values with an eye toward where the library fits in.
The Capitola Branch Community Meeting will be held in the Capitola Branch on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at 7:00 PM. All community members, whether library users or not, are invited to give input to ensure that our new Capitola Branch will be a space that provides services and programs that are important to our values, needs and goals.
This meeting will be the first in Capitola soliciting community comment. Early in 2017, the City of Capitola will schedule additional meetings to gather input on the design of our new branch.
