Welcome to the Capitola Police Department Website.  The city of Capitola is business friendly and values its commitment to the safety and welfare of the residents and visitors of our beautiful and historic city located in the northern shore of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. 

It is my honor to serve as the Chief of Police for the City of Capitola.  The sworn and civilian personnel that comprise our police department are dedicated to addressing crime and disorder in a manner that embodies police-community partnerships. Our efforts are supported by a host of volunteers that work closely with each one of our officers.
