41st Ave Corridor Plan
The Community Development Department for the City of Capitola is advertising for qualification submissions for the following project:
41st Avenue Corridor Plan
General work description:
The City of Capitola is seeking prequalification submissions from qualified firms for the development of a comprehensive Corridor Plan for the 41st Avenue Corridor, a key commercial and economic hub. The plan will focus on revitalizing the area by integrating mobility improvements, placemaking strategies, and housing development aligned with the City’s long-term vision. The selected firm will develop a strategic concept plan to guide future investments, improve infrastructure, support business growth, and enhance pedestrian, cyclist, and public transit accessibility. This plan will also align with the City's Housing Element and other ongoing efforts. Previous relevant studies, such as the 2009 "41st Avenue Corridor Economic Development/Mixed Use Revitalization Study" and the 2011 "41st Avenue/Capitola Mall Re-Visioning Plan", should be reviewed as part of this effort.
