Monterey Bay Community Power Accepting Advisory Council Applications

Monterey Bay Community Power (MBCP), the new regional partnership between local governments to provide clean-source electricity, seeks qualified, passionate and committed applicants for its volunteer Community Advisory Council. The Council will serve as an advisory body to the MBCP boards. The key goals of MBCP, as outlined in the Joint Powers Agreement, are:

• Maximize greenhouse gas reduction;
• Stabilize and reduce customer rates and costs; and
• Invest in local energy projects and programs
