Capitola Named "City on the Rise" for Tobacco Control

The American Lung Association in California has released the State of Tobacco Control 2020 - California Local Grades. Due to the Capitola’s recent addition of a Tobacco Retail License (TRL), including a ban on the sale of flavored tobacco products, Capitola has gone from six total points to ten. This change boosted the City's overall grade from a C to a B. In recognition of these important changes, Capitola is featured in the “Cities and Counties on the Rise.”
