How to Provide Comments to the City Council
Members of the public may provide public comments to the City Council in-person during the meeting. If you are unable to attend in-person, please email your comments to citycouncil@ci.capitola.ca.us (link sends e-mail) and they will be included as a part of the record for the meeting. Please be aware that the City Council will not accept comments via Zoom.
Public Comments at the 4/17 Special Meeting
All persons interested in addressing the City Council on the items listed on the Special Meeting agenda will be given an opportunity to do so. To comment, audience members are requested to complete a speaker card. Speakers should complete one card per item, and place their speaker card in the corresponding item bin. Speakers may submit speaker cards up until 15 minutes after the Public Comment Period for that item begins. Speakers will have two minutes to speak. The City Clerk will call speakers by name during the Public Comment Period for each item. Speaker cards will be available outside of the City Council Chambers and the doors to the Council Chambers will open at 5 PM. If you require assistance to complete a card, please request assistance from staff.
