Public Hearings Dec. 14 To Consider Reauthorizing an Existing Ordinance and Review a Completed Block Grant

The City of Capitola City Council will hold public hearings to consider  reauthorizing an ordinance implementing the provisions of the Digital Infrastructure and Video Competition Act and to finalize its 2014 Community Development Block Grant on Thursday, December 14, beginning at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 420 Capitola Avenue, Capitola, CA.

The City Council adopted Ordinance No. 934 in 2008, which allows the City to collect fees from video franchises.

The 2014 block grant provided funding for housing support programs. See the formal public notice below.
