Capitola Wharf Master Plan
The City of Capitola is excited to announce the development of the Capitola Wharf Master Plan. This initiative aims to shape the future of the Wharf with input from our community members through an extensive public outreach and participation process.
City Council Meeting: Presentation on Findings of Public Input
Date: June 26, 2025 Time: 4 pm Location: City Hall Council Chambers, 420 Capitola Avenue, Capitola, CA 95010
The design team will present the findings from public outreach to the Capitola City Council. The Council will evaluate the public feedback alongside other factors such as cost and project duration to select a preferred alternative.
Community Engagement
The Public Input period extended from May 1 - May 30 with a Wharf Survey, a community meeting, and various stakeholder meetings. Seven options for the future use of the Wharf were created to provide a starting points for public discussion and feedback, with the understanding that the ultimate master plan may be a hybrid of the options and new ideas. We appreciate you insights in shaping the future of the Wharf. The next opportunity to learn more about the Wharf Master Plan and comment on the project, will be at the June 26, 2025, City Council meeting when the findings of the public input will be presented.
