The tallying of ballots and final certification of election results for Capitola (and all Santa Cruz County jurisdictions) is handled by the Santa Cruz County Clerk/Elections. Updates are posted here. 

County Elections has until December 6 to certify the final results. The Capitola City Council will confirm the results and swear in the successful candidates at its December 13 meeting.
