2022-23 Capitola Community Grant Application
The Grant Application Period has been extended to August 15, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
The City of Capitola is pleased to announce the availability of funds for the 2022-23 Community Grant Program.
The Capitola Community Grant program is budgeted at $125,000 from the city general fund and $60,000 from dedicated youth and early childhood program funding. The youth and early childhood program funding is a percentage of the voter approved of transient occupancy tax.
The Capitola Community Grant program is open to non-profits and is intended to support local organizations that provide community, environmental and/or social services that benefit the City or the community and enhance the well-being of Capitola residents.
The General Fund Grant Program will focus on three Conditions for Health and Wellbeing.
- Stable, Affordable Housing and Shelter
- Health and Wellness
- Healthy Environments
In addition to General Fund Grants, the City of Capitola will be accepting grant applications for youth and early childhood programs.
The grants are for three year in the amount approved each year.
The City will be considering applications for both funding sources in the following amounts
- Operational (up to $7,500)

Support general operating costs for programs that foster health & well-being of Capitola residents

- Outcome ($7,500 - $15000)

Support implementation and/or evaluation of programs that foster health & well-being of Capitola residents; Directly benefits Capitola residents.
